Cooperative relationships/SAE in China

Since 2004, this partnership has resulted in the delivery of 9 SAE International seminars to such companies as General Motors, Delphi, Shanghai Huizong Automotive Manufacturing Company, and Automotive Gear Manufacturing. In addition, the SAE Automotive CAD Professional Training & Certification Program, industry's only international program that provides the standard for developing and measuring automotive CAD skills globally, was presented in conjunction with SAIC in December of 2004.
SAE International and SAITC look forward to continuing this training partnership at the SAIC Training Center. This will continue to build upon the excellent training available through China's universities, draw on SAE's vast educational resources, and deliver the organization's professional development courses and seminars to Shanghai and surrounding automotive companies.

The ongoing relationship between SAE International and SAE China continues its work towards promoting automotive technology and establishing connections with foreign automotive engineering societies. As fellow member societies of FISITA, the world body for automotive engineering societies, SAE International and SAE China have jointly developed meetings to help advance these objectives.
